It is true that as we age we do need to exfoliate more often. Dry skin build up can make skin appear dull and inhibit the penetration of products and treatments. By exfoliating on a regular basis you can give your skin a radiant luminous glow! There are many different mechanical and enzymatic exfoliants to suit each particular skin care need. Mechanical exfoliants feel "gritty" and contain some form of scrubbing granules to manually remove the build up. Enzymatic exfoliants often contain some sort of glycolic acid or alpha hydroxy acid which remove build up with out irritating the skin with "scrubbing".
